Proposals for the provision of In-Home Aide Services (Levels I, II, and III) for older adults in Yadkin County for Fiscal Year 2012 and 2013 (July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013) will be received by the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners until 2:00 on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. These services are funded through the Home and Community Care Block Grant for Older Adults. The Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging will serve as the administrative agent and all proposals will be reviewed by the Yadkin County Aging Planning Subcommittee.
The Request for Service Proposal package will be available after 12:00 pm on Thursday, April, 19, 2012. The package may be picked up at the County Manager’s Office, Human Services Building, or you may call 336-679-4200.
A mandatory HCCBG Request for Service Proposal will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday May 1st, at the Human Services Building. Yadkin County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any or all formalities.
Current unit costs and seniors served for In-Home Services according to Kim Berry with the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging are:
Level I: $15.9436 20
Level II: $17.4898 21 Level III: $19.9179 9
In addition, the Piedmont Triad Regional Council Area Agency on Aging states that there is $105,000 available in Home and Community Care Block Grant funds with a required $11,668 match.
